Recycling and playing with children in Kostinbrod
Today (October 18) the EVS volunteers Sencer, Eyüp and I have visited a daily centre in Kostingrod, in the outskirts of Sofia. We went there together with Nadia and Elina, two Bulgarians women, who also collaborate with the Bulgarian Youth Forum.
The institution called Дневен център за работа с деца на улицата – гр.Костинброд (Day Center for Work with Children on the Street - Kostinbrod) works with children for some hours every day.
Our BYF team met there a dozen of children and their teachers. We started introducing ourselves, our organisation and Erasmus+ exchange programs. Then we briefly spoke about the risks of pollution for animals. After that we organised a bunch of games for a couple of hours, many related with recycling, such making our own jewellery with used plastic bags. We finished our visit playing all together the game "Guess who I am".
