Back to Rakitovo
On November 12 and 13 our BYF team (Tsvetelina, Bozhidar, Eyüp, Sencer and I) went to Rakitovo again.
Just like in August we visited the Educational Boarding-School Angel Uzunov. We met there many of the teen boys we already knew and who still remembered us. We also met many others who weren't there in August.
On Monday, the first day, we organised games and workshops related with career opportunities and introduction to the labour market. We helped the boys to discover their skills, we also showed them how to create a CV and we even organised some job interviews.
On Tuesday, the second day, we focused in health issues. We made a presentation about personal hygiene and another about healthy diet. After that kids drew different foods they would likely eat and we told them which was the healthiest option among them.
Overall it was a short but intense experience. I believe the kids have learnt something from our visit and I hope to see them again soon.
